When asked about Crystal Palace striker Michael Olise’s future, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano gave Liverpool and other clubs a major transfer boost.
Several major clubs expressed interest in signing the France youth international during the January transfer window; his contract reportedly included a £35 million release clause; nevertheless, he decided to remain put and signed a new four-year agreement at Selhurst Park.
But rumour has it that all the major clubs are interested in signing the attacker, and some even say they would make a bid during the upcoming transfer window.rumored to be on the verge of joining a major club.
Romano has now spoken out, confirming what many have suspected: that Marc Guehi, Michael Olise, and Eberechi Eze will all be leaving the club during the summer transfer window.
Although Crystal Palace will be looking to bolster their roster for the 2024–25 season, Romano of CaughtOffside noted that the club will prioritize retaining its top performers.
Given the interest in Michael Olise, Eberechi Eze, and Marc Guehi, I don’t think they will have an easy time retaining all of their top players.
Many clubs are interested in Olise, therefore I anticipate a summer transfer for him. Marc Guehi is also on the radar of other clubs.
“What transpires during the summer will determine our next steps regarding Eze.”
We don’t know what LIVERPOOL new boss Arne Slot wants, but Olise would be a fantastic choice if he’s looking for players with Premier League experience. The club is expecting a lot of upheaval this summer.
It may be a steal for Liverpool and the like to buy the youngster for £60 million because he’s prepared to take his career to the next level.
