There has been much media speculation that Mohammed Salah will be leaving the club at the conclusion of the season, leading to Liverpool being linked with a transfer for the attacker in recent windows.
If Mauricio Pochettino signs the Italy international, he will be able to move players in and out of the starting lineup and have more choices in the attack when things aren’t going according to plan.
If Chiesa is serious about making the jump to the Premier League, CHELSEA may be the perfect fit because of his extensive experience at the top level, versatility as a player, and innate talent for big games.
The one catch is that he is a starter and won’t be content to be a backup; he wants to play every week and every minute of every game.
Chelsea is eager to enhance other parts of the pitch, add to that Chiesa’s large asking price and big salary, and it’s hard to see this deal occurring during the summer window unless Pochettino truly needs him signed.
